This Committee is responsible for reviewing and recommending to Council policies on licensing and registration for taxis, private hire vehicles and other licensable vehicles, street trading and other miscellaneous licensing and registration matters. It is responsible for reviewing and recommending to Council fees and charges related to these licensing functions.

The Committee appoints a General Purposes Licensing Casework Sub-Committee to deal with casework.
