The Finance and Performance Panel is a cross-party standing panel established by the Scrutiny Committee to scrutinise all finance and budgetary issues and decisions, as well as monitoring wider Council performance (including performance of the Council’s companies). The Panel also scrutinises executive decisions made in relation to any companies wholly or partly owned by the Council.. Its work includes conducting an in depth annual review of the Council’s budget proposals and medium term financial strategy.
