Purpose of committee
The Companies Panel is a cross-party Standing Panel established by the Scrutiny Committee to scrutinise the decisions of the Shareholder and Joint Venture Group in respect of the Council’s wholly owned companies and joint ventures. The individual companies are not be directly accountable to the Panel.
