There are 20 seats on the Risinghurst and Sandhills Parish Council, split into the following parish wards:

·       Risinghurst North parish ward: 9

·       Risinghurst South parish ward: 3

·       Sandhills parish ward: 5

·       Wood Farm parish ward: 3

Elections to the parish council are every 4 years, next held in May 2024.

The Parish Council usually meets on the third Thursday of each month (except August) at 7.00pm. All full Parish Council start with a public participation session. Meetings are held at the Risinghurst Community Centre, Kiln Lane, Oxford. OX3 8EY.
