Award of Contract for the Provision of Microsoft Enterprise Licensing
This decision seeks approval to award a
contract for the provision of Microsoft enterprise software
licences for Oxford City Council for a period of three years, with
an estimated contract value of £1.8 million, and a potential
maximum value of £2.2 million, subject to licence usage and
organisational requirements.
The contract will provide access to Microsoft’s core
productivity, collaboration, security, and cloud services,
including Microsoft 365 and associated enterprise products, which
are critical to the Council’s day-to-day operations, cyber
security posture, and digital service delivery.
The proposed contract will ensure continuity of service, compliance
with licensing obligations, cost certainty over the contract term,
and alignment with the Council’s cloud-first and
security-by-design strategies.
