Report to seek approval for the Oxford Local
Plan 2045 Proposed Submission Document for public consultation and,
subject to the outcome of the consultation, if no matters are
raised that materially impact upon the Plan strategy, submit the
Submission Draft Oxford Local Plan 2045 to the Secretary of State
so it can be formally examined.

Consultation process
Formal public consultation is required on the
Submission Draft Oxford Local Plan 2045 before it can be submitted.
The consultation at this stage must focus on whether the Plan meets
the soundness tests set out in Government guidance. The
consultation will be publicised in a number of ways, including
direct notifications to those on the Planning Policy database and
those who commented at previous stages of plan preparation, and
social media messaging.
