Delegated Authority for the decision on whether to run a procurement to replace the existing Data Centre Contract
On 31 March 2021 a contract with SCC, valued annually at over £550,000, covering data centre hosting and suppot for the Council, reaches mid-term at five years into a ten year contract. The contract has a break clause at the end of the fifth year. Decisions are is needed as to whether to continue with the contract for a further five years or re-tender and whether those decisions can be delegated to officers.
