The decision to proceed with the commission of services from Ark Consultancy will allow a ‘Lessons Learnt’ review and report relating to the implementation of the QL Housing system to be delivered.

09/05/2022 - Oxpens River Bridge preferred location ref: 2295    For Determination

Cabinet, on 16 March 2022, resolved to:

 

1.    Approve, subject to agreement with Oxfordshire County Council and Future Oxfordshire Partnership (formerly Oxfordshire Growth Board) an amended funding agreement to allow additional design fees to be drawn down from the funding allocation and delegate to the Executive Director (Development) in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning and Housing Delivery, the Head of Law and Governance, and the Head of Financial Services, the detailed wording of an amended agreement to address the funding and programme issues; and

 

3.    Delegate to the Executive Director (Development) in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning and Housing Delivery, the decision on the preferred option for the bridge for consultation, and then the submission of a planning application if deemed appropriate. 

 

The Executive Director for Communities and People has subsequently been authorised to exercise this delegation due to a potential for conflict with the Executive Director for Development’s role on the OXWED board.

08/04/2022 - Award of contract to Inform CPI Ltd for Rateable Value Finder, National Non Domestic Rates Appeals Forecasting and Council Tax Finder ref: 2294    Recommendations Approved

These services allow searches for rateable hereditaments which are currently not included in the Council’s records, or where there is the potential for the rateable value entered in the valuation list to be incorrect.  They also provide assistance in finding properties which should be banded for Council Tax purposes, or where there is the potential for an existing banding to be incorrect.  This enables the Council to collect money owed.
