Allocation of Homeless Prevention Funds for 2021/22
22/09/2021 - Use of Preventing Homelessness Grant funds - Women's Hub
To award Aspire (Oxford) Ltd £5,000 for the establishment and running costs of a Women’s Hub, to provide gender specific support to women experiencing, at risk of, and recovering from homelessness. Aspire are working with The Gatehouse and the Lived Experience Advisory Forum to develop this service.
22/09/2021 - Use of Preventing Homelessness Grant funds - Alliance Manager
To allocate £30,000 for the first six month’s costs of the new Alliance Manager post, which will oversee the implementation of the new Countywide Homelessness Service. The ongoing costs of this post will be met from within the budget for the new service from 1 April 2022, but it is important for the successful implementation of the new service that this post can be recruited earlier to ensure the service is set up effectively.
22/09/2021 - Use of Preventing Homelessness Grant funds - Connection Support
To award Connection Support £19,500 to provide support for 3 complex needs beds. This represents a net call on the Preventing Homelessness Grant of £11,834 due to an underspend on another Connections contract funded by the PHG.
