To consider an appointment to the post of Assistant Chief Executive.

The public interest in maintaining the exemption is so that discussions and deliberations of the Committee with and about candidates are not compromised and so that the confidentiality of information provided by candidates is protected.
Minutes:
The Appointments Committee agreed to go into confidential session for the reasons stated on the agenda.
The Committee agreed to select Caroline Green as their preferred candidate for the post of Assistant Chief Executive and delegated the offer of the post and agreement of term and conditions to the Chief Executive.
