Report of the Head of Paid Service on senior management arrangements

Exempt report and debate: By Virtue of Paragraph 1 Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 Information relating to any individual.

As set out in the Council’s Constitution, the Committee will receive a verbal report from the Head of Paid Service (Chief Executive) setting out the current senior management arrangements including any recent changes.

Addition to agenda item 24 July: report for decision on a contract extension.

The Head of Paid Service may draw attention to any other matters of note.

Minutes:

The Chief Executive provided a verbal report and presentation on the Council’s senior management arrangements, as required by a change to the Constitution agreed by Council on 27 January 2020.

 

The Committee also considered a report from the Chief Executive on a contract extension.

 

The Committee resolved to:

1.     Note the report of the Chief Executive on the Council’s senior management arrangements.

2.     Approve a 12 month extension effective from 27 July 2020, to the fixed term contract for the current Interim Executive Director for Communities and Customers.
