Responses to previous recommendations
The Panel is asked to note that the meeting of the Shareholder and Joint Venture Group scheduled for 17th March was cancelled due to the coronavirus. As such, the recommendations of the previous meeting have not been considered.

The Panel was reminded that due to the cancellation of the Shareholder and Joint Venture Group meeting in March 2020, the reports made from the Panel’s meeting in March 2020 had not been considered. This information was NOTED.
Meeting: 12/03/2020 - Companies Scrutiny Panel (Item 22)
Responses to previous recommendations
At its last meeting the Panel agreed to make a recommendation to Cabinet that ‘up to two members of the Shareholder and Joint Venture Group be nominated to participate in the recruitment and selection processes for i) non-executive directors, and ii) the managing director. Involvement to include membership of the interview panel.’
With the agreement of the Chair the report with this recommendation was not submitted on the grounds that the Shareholder and Joint Venture Group had already agreed to make the change.
Minutes:
The Panel NOTED that the report containing a recommendation had not progressed to the Shareholder and Joint Venture Group on the basis that the Shareholder and Joint Venture Group had already adopted the suggestion prior to the recommendation being made.
