This report seeks project approval for the supply of building materials and plumbing and heating supplies to the Council and the award of the contract to Buildbase until June 2013 with the option of a further one year’s extension.

The Head of Direct Services submitted a report (previously circulated, now appended) seeking approval to enter into a contract for the supply of building materials and heating and plumbing supplies.

Resolved:-

(1)               To grant project approval for the supply of building materials and plumbing and heating supplies;

(2)       That a contract for the supply to the City Council of building materials and heating and plumbing supplies be awarded to Buildbase until June 2013 with the option at the discretion of Procurement for Housing and the Strategic Director, City Services in consultation with the relevant Executive member of a year’s extension, and otherwise as referred to in the report.
