Decision:
The Director of Communities and Citizens Services decides as follows:
Approve the Ward Member Budget request from Councillor Bala for £200 payment to Oxford Youth Enterprise Ltd. The funding will support for the hosting of Oxford Youth Festival at Willowbrook Halal Organic Farm.
Reasons for the decision:
Councillor Bala has submitted a request for £200 for the payment to Oxford Youth Enterprise Ltd.
The Councillor notes ‘Funds will be used to replace 10-year-old tents, gazebos and outdoor cooking equipment for annual youth festival and other events across East Oxford.’
Alternative options considered:
The Ward Member spend could not be approved; however, the application has been reviewed by the relevant consultees and fits with the scheme as set out within the Constitution.
