To purchase a block of two x one-bedroom flats
at 33 Horspath Road, Oxford, OX4 2QL as part of the additional
RRTBR programme.
Decision:
The Deputy Chief Executive decides to purchase a block of two x one-bedroom flats at 33 Horspath Road, Oxford, OX4 2QL for a total purchase price of £540,000 to be allocated to the additional RRTBR programme for general needs social rent.
Reasons for the decision:
In response the above, the decision has been made to use allocated funds of £540,000 to purchase 33A and 33B Horspath Road, Oxford, OX4 2QL in order to provide two more additional affordable housing unit for the HRA to respond to the immediate housing need.
Alternative options considered:
To not purchase the flats.
