To contribute towards the CPZ programme to be rolled out by Oxfordshire County Council where consultation demonstrates there is local support and the need is supported by the Highways Authority.
Decision:
£200k allocated in the capital budget 2018/19. The capital bid is highlighted on page 32 of the report and also referenced in the capital programme appendix

Reasons for the decision:
Provision of infrastructure to support the residents of Oxford city as per the CIL regulations.
Alternative options considered:
Not allocating the money is not the preferred option because that would not support the Council’s aim of introducing CPZs across the city which supports the wider objectives of the Council to move towards more sustainable transport to be delivered through Connecting Oxford and the Zero Emission Zone.
