The decision is to appoint Montagu Evans consultants to provide specialist property advice on the land the Council owns, that is part of the land identified as South Oxford Science Village.
The consultants were selected following a competitive process using the Homes England Property Panel.
The work required is phased with the cost of the initial phase being £16k. All phases to have a maximum value of £150k.
Alternative options considered:
The alternative options were not to appoint specialist advice or select a different firm. The option not to appoint specialist advisors was rejected as it could result in the Council failing to optimise its asset. The consultants were selected based on the assessment criteria in the tender.
