Purpose:
Following the CEB meeting on 15 December 2016 –
Council is recommended to supports in principle the submission of a devolution bid with a governance model based on the current two-tier structure for local government with a combined authority and elected mayor.
Decision:
The award of contract to PWC to undertake the consultancy of an Oxfordshire Unitary study on behalf of Oxford City Council and 6 District Councils.
Reasons for the decision:
Oxford led on procurement of study on behalf of 7 councils. Two bids were evaluated and the strongest bidder was appointed.
