Purpose:

Approval of the Annual Pay Policy Statement 2026/27, as required under the Localism Act 2011. The Council must approve and publish the statement by 31 March each year to ensure compliance and transparency.

Council resolved to:

1.       Approve the Annual Pay Policy Statement 2026/27 as set out in Appendix 1 to this report 

2.       Agree the proposed pay agreement for April 2026 and April 2027 reached with Unison and Unite as set out in paragraph 3.
