Purpose:
As at 17th April 2024 cabinet made the decision to use Retained Right to Buy Receipts for the provision of additional affordable housing into the Housing Revenue Account. This form of delivery allows us to respond to the immediate housing need.
Decision:
To purchase a 4-bedroom house at 62 kestrel crescent, Blackbird leys, Oxford, OX4 6DZ for £355,000 to be allocated to RRTBR 25/26 programme for general needs social rent.
Reasons for the decision:
In response the above, the decision has been made to use allocated funds of £355,000 to purchase a 4-bedroom house at 62 kestrel crescent, Blackbird leys, Oxford, OX4 6DZ in order to provide 1 more additional affordable housing unit for the HRA to respond to the immediate housing need.
