Purpose:
Delivery of Council housing (social rent). It is intended that the ownership of the homes will be transferred to Oxford City Housing which will be subject to subsequent decision.
Decision:
To enter an agreement to acquire the affordable (social rented) housing (c. 176 homes) on the final two phases of Barton Park development as part of the Council housing and housing company strategy and business plans.
Reasons for the decision:
Continuation of the existing Council housing strategy at Barton Park as set out in the reports to the City Executive Board.
