Following the appointment of the Interim Group
Finance Director by the Appointments Committee in November 2025,
full Council are recommended to appoint the Interim Group Finance
Director as the Council's Section 151 Officer, also known as the
Chief Finance Officer, as per the Local Government Act 1972
Decision:
Council resolved to:
1. Designate the newly appointed Interim Group Finance Director as the Council’s Section 151 Officer with effect from the 6th April 2026.
