Councillor Commitment

Two Council representatives are appointed annually to attend meetings of the Board of Trustees

Expectations of Councillor Representatives

The organisation thinks it is reasonable that the City Council, as its major funder, should have representatives attending their board meetings. The organisation hopes that the City Councillor representatives will keep us informed of issues relating to the Council; to give information to Council meetings about how we operate and what we achieve; to act as a critical friend where necessary; and to give the Council confidence that the Advice Centre operates responsively.
