  • Councillor Andrew Gant - Non Pecuniary - declared that he was a trustee of Ark T, the owner of the Venue Community Rooms referred to in the public address by Artwell, but this was not a pecuniary interest.

  • Councillor Sajjad Malik - Pecuniary - declared that the decision affected his disclosable pecuniary interest and he would leave the meeting and take no part in the debate on these items.

  • Councillor Sajjad Malik - Pecuniary - declared that the decision affected his disclosable pecuniary interest and he would leave the meeting and take no part in the debate on these items.

16a Acting on the Climate Emergency

  • Councillor Craig Simmons - Confirm: no interest, no bias - declared in the interests of transparency that he was a contractor and small shareholder in Anthesis, who had a contract for a small amount of work supporting the City Council with its climate change strategy; but this did not qualify as a disclosable pecuniary interest. He would therefore remain in the chamber and take part in the debate.

15e John Radcliffe Hospital Parking

  • Councillor Richard Tarver - Confirm: no interest, no bias - stated for the record that although he was an employee of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, his role did not encompass parking and he did not use the parking facilities and so he had no declarable interest. He would remain in the chamber and take part in the debate.
  • Councillor Susan Brown - Non Pecuniary - declared that, while the motion did not affect her disclosable pecuniary interest as an employee of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, to avoid any appearance of impropriety she would leave the chamber and take no part in the debate.
