The Head of Environmental Development has submitted a report which details the recommendation of the Licensing and Gambling Acts Committee of 5^th September 2013 in relation to the draft revised Statement of Gambling Licensing Policy.

This report was presented to the City Executive Board on 11^th September 2013. An extract from the minutes of this meeting is attached.

Council is asked to approve the recommendation of the Licensing and Gambling Acts Committee that the draft revised Statement of Gambling Licensing Policy be adopted.

Council had before it the following (previously circulated, now appended):

(1)       Report of the Head of Environmental Development which was submitted to the City Executive Board on 11^th September 2013. The report sought approval of the recommendation from the Licensing and Gambling Acts Committee that the draft revised Statement of Gambling Licensing Policy be adopted;

(2)       Extract from the minutes of the City Executive Board held on 11^th September 2013

Council agreed:

(a)          To adopt the draft revised Statement of Gambling Licensing Policy;

(b)          To approve the re-adoption of a “no casino” policy.
