Councillor Smowton has submitted a request for £250.00 for the payment to Headington Action an update of the content of the Headington Community Activities Guide

The Councillor notes

‘The success of the Community Activities Week depends on attracting new participants as well as new providers. This work is well underway and includes a substantial update of the content of the Headington Community Activities Guide. The funding requested will cover the costs of printing posters, flyers and the updated Guide through Brookes Printing, and redesigning the webpage and social media channels which is being undertaken by Ruth Deary who designs the Headington Festival publicity materials.

Estimated costs: will be paid to invoice after the event

Printing 500 flyers +100 posters and 500 copies of updated CAG: £1008
Design costs: £350.’

The Ward Member spend could not be approved; however, the application has been reviewed by the relevant consultees and fits with the scheme as set out within the Constitution.
