Acceptance of funding from MHCLG to undertake work relating to the Oxford Central and West End opportunity area and strategic infrastructure capacity.

The Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Partnership Working, Inclusive Economic Growth and Culture decides as follows:

1.             Accept £1m of funding from MHCLG to support the work of Oxford Growth Commission including work relating to Oxford West End and strategic infrastructure capacity and deposit the funding within an earmarked reserve specifically for the purposes set out in the Memorandum of Understanding

2.             Note the Memorandum of Understanding relating to this funding that will be signed by the Director for Regeneration, Economy and Sustainability

To purchase the leasehold of Flat K at 10 Cinnaminta Road, Oxford, OX3 7JB for £280,000 to be allocated to the Temporary Accommodation and Homes England SAHP grant funding Programme.

The Director of Communities and Citizens Services decides as follows:

Approve the Ward Member Budget request from Councillor Smowton £250.00 payment to Headington Action an update of the content of the Headington Community Activities Guide

To approve the development Agreement for provision of three affordable rented houses at Tucker Road, Blackbird Leys

The Director of Housing, decides as follows:

Approve, and agree to enter into development agreement with OCHL for the provision of additional affordable housing at Tucker Road.

The Deputy Chief Executive, Place decides as follows:

1.    To dispose of the properties known as land at Balfour Road, Oxford and Pegasus Road, Oxford to Oxfordshire Community Land Trust by long lease for a term of 250 years for a premium of £65,000 (Balfour Road) and £50,000 (Pegasus Road) for use for Affordable Housing on the sites.

2.    Prior to the grant of the leases to enter into an agreement for lease conditional upon Oxfordshire Community Land Trust obtaining planning permission for development of residential units on the sites.

The Director of Housing Services decides as follows:

To purchase the leasehold of flats F, H, J, at 10 Cinnaminta Road, Oxford, OX3 7JB for a total of £840,000 to be allocated to the Temporary Accommodation Programme.

The Director of Communities and Citizens Services decides as follows:

Approve the Ward Member Budget request from Councillor Bala for £300 payment to Refugee Resource. The funding is support for the Women’s Group for female service users currently awaiting counselling.

Deputy Chief Executive – Place decides as follows:

1.       To. Serve notice on the Oxford Preservation Trust of the Council’s intention to enter into the Deed of Release of restrictive covenant relating to the land use and to subsequently make the required premium payment detailed in Appendix 1, including VAT if applicable, as specified in the Deed and enter into the Deed of Release with the Oxford Preservation Trust.[E

To purchase the leasehold interest of a one-bedroom flat at 2A Gerard Place, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 3HD as part of the additional RRTBR programme.
