Oxfordshire Waste Partnership Joint Committee

Aims:

Oxfordshire Waste Partnership (OWP) is a partnership of the county and district councils of Oxfordshire who are working together to continuously improve waste management services within the county.

We aim to develop a coordinated and consistent approach to municipal waste management in Oxfordshire, within which the partner councils can fulfil their roles as waste disposal and waste collection authorities.

The biggest task facing the partnership is to ensure that Oxfordshire meets challenging targets set by Government on reducing the amount of waste landfilled and increasing recycling. We do this by developing and overseeing a Joint Municipal Waste Management Strategy.
