As a part of the proposed works to extend the Park & Ride facility it is first necessary for the Council to take all appropriate steps, as required by legislation, to address issues relating to the protection of Badgers.

The appointment of a specialist contractor, Brushdale Habitat Management, to install badger fencing and to undertake badger mitigation works, at an estimated cost of approximately £37,500, will help the Council to discharge it's responsibilities.

The contractor will be supervised by WYG Engineering Limited.

This work will commence on 8th November 2018, and be completed no later than 30th November 2018.
