Purpose:
CEB on 13 February 2018 considered a report on
the “use of Receipts from the Sale of 156 Walton Street (HRA
assets)” and delegated the following decision to the Head of
Housing Services:
"Negotiate and agree such transactions, including any works
required to any acquisitions, to maximise the benefit of the
receipt."
As at 31 January, three properties have been purchased in
accordance with the delegation and one yet to be purchased.
Due diligence was followed as part of the Standard Operating
Procedure for such purchases in relation to both values and land
searches and related legal matters.
